CELEBRATING the HOPE of EASTER WEEK together!

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE - Friday, March 29, 6pm, Worship Center

Join us as we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus' crucifixion,  what is means for us as and the forgiveness of our sins. Then, come back on Sunday morning as we celebrate his resurrection and the hope that it offers.
Childcare is available for birth through 5 years.

FAMILY EGGS-TRAVAGANZA – Saturday, March 30, 11:30am-1:30pm, Outside Courtyard

A great family fun opportunity to celebrate Easter, with something for all ages. We’ll have a “Trunk or Treat” style candy giveaway, hayrides, crafts, face painting, food trucks available for purchase, and much more. To help us prepare we will need lots and lots of candy, cars, and volunteers. Help us make this a wonderful outreach event for those in our community by volunteering. EASTER SUNDAY SERVICES

Plan to attend one of our Easter services as we celebrate the Hope that Easter offers. Invite your family, friends and neighbors to join you as we celebrate our Risen Lord together.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER – Wednesday, April 3, 6pm, Fellowship Hall

This week’s menu is handmade cheeseburgers, chips, baked beans and all the fixins. The price is $5 per person with a $25 immediate family maximum. Hope to see you this week; come for dinner and stay for our Wednesday night programs.

NEXT STEPS FOR NEW BELIEVERS – Wednesday, April 3, 7-8pm, Portable #3

Building the right foundation is important in the life of a new Christ-follower. There are a lot of questions about God, the Bible and faith that new Christ-followers may have. The 4-week New Believers Class is designed to answer questions about faith, and to equip a new believer for the next steps in their new life following Jesus Christ. MEN’S MINISTRY BBQ – Friday, April 5, 6pm, Fellowship Hall

Men, Meat, Fire & Jesus. There’s nothing better than that. Men, plan to join us for an evening of some great BBQ, fellowship and a devotional led by Pastor Jon Velasquez. This is a free event and you can register by clicking on the link below.
JAM 56 KING SKATE NIGHT – Friday, April 5, King Skate, 5:30-9:30pm, Franklin Blvd, Elk Grove

All 5th and 6th grade students, join us for a fun night of fellowship and skating. The cost is $15 for the skate rental and skating fee. If you want to get something from their snack bar, bring extra money. Parents, bring your student to the church parking lot and we’ll depart from there at 5:30pm. FAITH NIGHT AT THE PORTS - Saturday, April 6, 5:30pm, Banner Island Ballpark, Stockton

Christian Night at Stockton Ports Ballpark. At 5:30pm our band will be playing along with other bands from nearby churches. Then we will cheer on the Stockton Ports as they face the Modesto Nuts.

Game starts at 7pm. Tickets are available at the Connection Counter or by clicking on the link below.   $10.00 per person.
DISTRICT WOMEN’S RETREAT – Friday & Saturday,  April 12-13, SonRise-New Life Church, Vacaville

DIVORCE CARE – Wednesday, April 17, 6:45-8pm, Portable #4

Divorce Care is a safe place where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. At this 13-week, video-based support group program, you'll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making. This is part 2 of the 13-week series, but if this is your first time you are still welcome to join us and catch part one at a future time. Please sign up by clicking on the link below.

MEMORIAL FOR THE UNBORN/WALK FOR LIFE – Saturday, April 20, 11am-1pm, South Patio & Riparian Area

Faith will host a Memorial for the Unborn, followed by a Walk for Life through the Riparian Area. The Memorial is for those who have suffered the trauma of abortion, miscarriage, or stillbirth. The Walk for Life will have prayer stations placed throughout the Riparian Area. A picnic lunch is provided afterward. This is a joint effort by Faith Community and Directions Medical Clinic. There is no need to register, just show up.

STARTING POINT CLASS – Sunday, April 21, 9-10-:15am, Portable #3

New to Faith Community or exploring your own personal faith? Join us for Starting Point. It’s a place where we get to know each other a bit, and learn about our history and our plans for the future. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – Monday-Friday, June 24-28, 5:30-8:30pm, Faith Campus

Calling all kids from Kindergarten thru 6th grade, registration is now open for this year’s VBS. Our theme, Deep Sea Discovery, will take kids on a journey so they will know that God is with them wherever they go! Get ready to dive into this life-changing adventure of God’s love! The cost is $50 for the 1st child; $45 for the 2nd child; $40 for the 3rd and 4th; and $10 for each additional child in the immediate family. Register by clicking on the link below.
