LOVE LODI – Saturday, April 27, 8am-12pm, Hutchins Street Square

Volunteer for a service project on Love Lodi Day! The details of the day’s event:
  • 8am – Meet at Hutchins Street Square. Grab a burrito, pastry, coffee, and purchase your Love Lodi T-shirt for $10.
  • 9am – LOVE LODI RALLY
  • 9:30am – Volunteer Projects begin
  • 12pm – Community Picnic
Don't forget to come back after your project to Hutchins Street Square! There will be a free lunch, live music, face painting, bounce houses, activities, and several local non-profits. Love Lodi is more than just a day! We want to champion volunteerism year-round! A great service opportunity for families and small groups. FAITH RIDERS BIKE BLESSING & RIDE – THIS Saturday, April 20, 9am, Portable #1

Calling all bikers, join us for a bike blessing in the church parking lot. After the blessing we will gather in Portable #1 to discuss riding safety and awareness, then we will take a short ride to Clements for lunch. It will be a great time together and we encourage you to invite a fellow biker to join you.


MEMORIAL FOR THE UNBORN/WALK FOR LIFE – THIS Saturday, April 20, 11am-1pm, South Patio & Riparian Area

Faith will host a Memorial for the Unborn, followed by a Walk for Life through the Riparian Area. The Memorial is for those who have suffered the trauma of abortion, miscarriage, or stillbirth. The Walk for Life will have prayer stations placed throughout the Riparian Area. A picnic lunch is provided afterward. This is a joint effort by Faith Community and Directions Medical Clinic. There is no need to register, just show up.

SIDEWALK PROPHETS CONCERT – THIS Saturday, April 20, 7pm, Discover Church, Lodi

"Songs & Stories Tour" featuring Dove Award winning band Sidewalk Prophets. This night is truly one of the most intimate concerts Sidewalk Prophets has assembled. Watch the band tour as a trio, with each member playing multiple instruments throughout the night, and lead singer Dave Frey shares powerful & inspiring stories from life, and the road. The set includes the band's popular radio hits, deep album cuts, and brand new never performed music. New to Faith Community or exploring your own personal faith? Join us for Starting Point. It’s a place where we get to know each other a bit, and learn about our history and our plans for the future. RED ROCKS WORSHIP LIVE – Sunday, May 19, 7-9pm, Worship Center

Red Rocks Worship, a KLove/Air1 worship band, is coming to Faith Community! Join us as we worship God together. We are believing for far more than just a concert, but a true encounter with the Living God. Red Rocks Worship exists to make heaven more crowded by bringing faith-filled anthems of praise and thanksgiving to the local church. Tickets are available online by clicking on the link below. FAMILY CAMP – June 6-9, 49er Village RV Resort, Plymouth

Take a few days of R&R, share food, fun, fellowship, and get to know others from Faith Community and God, on a deeper level. Rent a RV site or rent a cabin in a beautiful setting at the Resort. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – Monday-Friday, June 24-28, 5:30-8:30pm, Faith Campus

Registration is now open! Calling all kids from Kindergarten thru 6th grade, registration is now open for this year’s VBS. Our theme, Deep Sea Discovery, will take kids on a journey so they will know that God is with them wherever they go! Get ready to dive into this life-changing adventure of God’s love! The cost is $50 for the 1st child; $45 for the 2nd child; $40 for the 3rd and 4th; and $10 for each additional child in the immediate family. Register by scanning the QR Code above.

PARENTS AFTERNOON OUT – Saturday, April 27, 1-3pm, Impact Sports, Lodi

We are so excited to announce a parents' afternoon out! Families with children ages 4 years thru 6th grade are invited to drop their kids off at Impact Sports in Lodi and enjoy two free hours. The event will be filled with the ninja course, silks, trampolines, gymnastics, tumbling, and friends. The cost is $20 per child. Space is limited so please don't wait! ADULT POTLUCK PICNIC – Sunday, April 28, 1-3pm, Patio Courtyard

All are invited to a potluck picnic sponsored by our Adult Sunday School Class, Sunday, April 28th, at 1pm. This is a great opportunity to meet one another and fellowship together. Bring your favorite finger foods, veggie tray, or dessert (cookies and such), some for you and some to share! No need to sign up, just show up!


SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES FOR THE LONG WALK - FOUNDATIONS – Wednesdays, beginning May 1, 7-8pm,  Portable #3

In this five-week class, you'll meet others who are on the long walk of faith as we learn together the basics of Bible study, prayer, and other foundational practices that will help you grow in your spiritual maturity for the rest of your life. Please sign up by clicking on the link below.

It's that time of year again, VBS is right around the corner. Come and help us get ready by creating, cutting, and painting, all to make this the best VBS ever. ADULT BAPTISM CLASS – Sunday, May 5, 9am, Portable #4

Learn about taking the next step in your faith journey through baptism. In this class, you will learn about baptism, get to know others on the same journey, and decide if baptism is for you. No need to sign up for the class,  just show up. Hope to see you there!
The actual baptism is scheduled for Sunday, May 19.
 

JAM 456 6TH GRADE BRIDGING CEREMONY – Friday, May 10, 6-8pm, Fellowship Hall

For all graduating 6th graders and their parents, plan to join us as we celebrate the “bridging” of students from our Children’s Department up to Thrive Youth Group. DIRECTIONS MEDICAL CLINIC BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER – Now through May 19

In support for Directions Medical Clinic here in Lodi, please fill your baby bottle with change and return it to the church office during the week or the Connection Counter on Sundays no later than May 19.


50 and ME GROUP – Thursdays, 1:30-3:30pm, Fellowship Hall

A support group for single adults who have lost a spouse or partner. The group shares current issues facing senior singles, support, socialize with each other, and spend time on a faith-based topic and support each other’s prayer requests. If you or someone you know would benefit from this group, we hope you will attend.
