TRUNK OR TREAT FALL FESTIVAL – Saturday, October 29, 2-5pm, Church Parking Lot

Mark your calendar now for our annual Trunk or Treat Fall Festival. It will be a packed afternoon of family fun with hayrides, face painting, games, lots of candy and more! Be sure to bring the entire family and invite your neighbors and friends as well. We are currently seeking volunteers to decorate their trunks, donate candy (we need lots and lots of candy!), help with set-up and tear-down and more. WEDNESDAYS ARE TAKING A FALL BREAK – October 5 and 12

In observation of the LUSD fall break, our regular Wednesday night programs, which includes our family dinner, WOW Kids, Route 66 and the marriage class, will not meet. These events will resume on October 19.
PLEASE NOTE that Thrive Youth and the Women’s Freed by Faith groups will continue to meet throughout the break.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD & CHURCH CHERUBS – Sunday, October 9

Yes, the holiday season is fast approaching and we will begin our annual support of the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child program and Faith Community’s Church Cherubs beginning next Sunday. OCC shoe boxes will be available at the connection counter in the lobby for you to take home, fill and return no later than November 13.
Also, if you are aware of a Faith family who are regular attenders and may struggle purchasing Christmas gifts for their children, please complete the Church Cherubs form.
AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS TROOP TO BEGIN – Tuesday, October 4,      6-7:30pm, Room 224     
   
The AHG Program, for girls ages 5-18 years, is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG girls participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement. The Troop will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month beginning October 4. For more information you can email either Tiana Mustin HERE, or Reanna Smola HERE.
DIVORCE CARE – Tuesday, October 4, 6:30-8pm, Portable #3

If you have suffered through or are going through the trauma of divorce, consider joining us; you are not alone. Each week’s lesson addresses a different topic, so you are welcome to pop in and out of the class as you are able. This week’s topic is “Financial & Legal Issues”.

NAZARENE YOUTH CONFERENCE PARENT INFORMATIONAL MEETING – Sunday, October 2, 10:15am, Youth Room

Parents, if your student, 9th-12th grade, is interested in attending the upcoming Nazarene Youth Conference, scheduled for July 4-11, 2023 in Tampa Bay, FL, you will want to attend this informational meeting immediately following 1st service on Sunday, October 2.

BACK 2 SCHOOL FALL BASH – Sunday, October 2, 4-7pm, Amphitheater

Students, 7th-12th grade, join us for this outdoor, back-to-school fall party bash celebrating the completion of the first quarter of the new school year. We’ll have some crazy games, bounce houses, lots of food and fun! Be sure to bring your friends. No need to sign-up, simply show up!

MOPS LADIES MURDER MYSTERY NIGHT – Friday, October 14, 6-8pm, Fellowship Hall

Ladies, join us for a fun evening of sleuthing and fellowship. Put your sleuthing skill to the test by playing an interactive Murder Mystery game. Bring an appetizer to share, wear a costume and grab a friend to come with you. To help us better prepare, please RSVP below.
MEN’S BREAKFAST – Saturday, October 15, 8-9:30am, Fellowship Hall

Men, it’s breakfast time! Set aside those Saturday chores for a few hours and start your weekend with other hungry guys for a delicious breakfast together. To help us better plan, please complete the RSVP form below.  There is a$10 suggested donation per person.
PARENT CHILD DEDICATION CLASS – Sunday, October 16, 11am, Fellowship Hall

Parents, if you are interested in more information on what it means to raise your child in the ways of Jesus, you will want to attend this informational class. The actual dedication service will be on Sunday, October 30, during both the 9 and 11am services. Please click on the link below to let us know that you plan to attend the class.
